Pawn majority is a term used to describe having more pawns on one side of the board compared to the other. This can be a powerful advantage, as it allows you to control more territory, restrict your opponent's pawn moves, and create opportunities for your own pawns to advance. To illustrate this concept, GM Ramesh analyzes a game played between two of the greatest chess players of all time: Mikhail Tal and Mikhail Botvinnik.
